Major Highlights

1.      Reduction in Multidimensional Poverty – 13.5 Crore people out from MPI between (2015-16 to 2019-21)

2.      Decline in Poverty Percentage – 24.85% (2015-16) - 14.85%  (2019-21)

3.      Rural Poverty Decline – 32.59% (2015-16) - 19.28%  (2019-21)

4.      Urban poverty decline - 8.6.5% (2015-16) - 5.27%  (2019-21)

5.      Multidimensional Poverty Index in M.P. – 31.57%  (2015-16) - 20.63%  (2019-21)
